I just got a notice from TICA that Lynkin's name has been approved. He's officially Spotagious Hot Rod Lynkin. What do you think?

Some car lot around here has put my cel number on several cars........So I keep getting calls from people asking about the Explorer or whatever! Then they don't believe me when I tell them I am not selling a car!

Anyone think I should just meet them on the lot and take their money?

And, I saw the picture of the five breeders from the last show. Nice "bookend" shirts in that picture! No offense to Wendy, but that's one helluva shirt she's got on!!! 1. It's Marley's 2nd Birthday today! I've put pictures on the boys' thread.
2. Still feeling icky--but at least I am sitting up a bit more today--so much work to catch up on. I am about ready to go find a cat and lay down again. My goodness!
3. OH has now announced that we are going to the AEA Convention in Orlando, FL--and we are taking the kids and the cats (since someone can't go potty on his own)--in 3 weeks! So--where to stay, how to get there, what to do-- yikes! I wanted to go to Harry Potter World-- but that isn't going to be open for a while-- bummer! Do I want to take 2 cats for a 24 plus hour car ride? Do I want to leave them alone anywhere while we are out? What to do, What to do????

So how do I go about registering Bentley? I won't be showing him and he does have a registration # and papers. I tried going to the Bengal Pedigree site and it didn't recognize Bentley's parents and I don't have the patience to go in and create records all the way through his lineage. It's funny, we have always called him Sir Bentley Lotsaspots . Then we found out he is from the Spotsalot line, so I would totally name him Sir Bentley Spotsalot and then maybe add one of his other lineage names like Lakewood or Bluewater. Oh and for the record, Willow is Lady Willow of Wingnut.

What does his blue slip say? My boys' say "Spotsalot" and then spaces after that for their chosen names-- but their name will always include the cattery that their mother is owned by. For example -- (when I get around to sending the blue slips in) Marley will be "Spotsalot Marley Runcis" and Sergei will be "Spotsalot Comrade Sergei"-- IF I owned a cattery--I would add that name to the end of their name-- for example--if their breeder had kept Marley (and used the name "Marley Runcis")--his name would be "Spotsalot Marley Runcis of Auroralights". I hope I helped.

Well, if you want to stay near Universal Studios, Portofino Bay Hotel allows pets! It is a wonderful resort, but kinda pricey. You can leave them in the rooms. They even have pet room service!!! Universal and Islands of Adventure are a BLAST! We are annual pass holders even without kids! Love it!!! The other two Universal hotels may allow pets as well since they are all owned by Loews. There is the Hard Rock Hotel and Royal Pacific Resort. All three hotels have a water taxi to CityWalk (full of shops and restaurants) and the parks. I also HIGHLY recommend SeaWorld and Aquatica. Great fun for the kids.

So for directions, where are you driving from? If you want, feel free to email me and I can give you all the info and directions you need. I've lived here for 11 years! :) The weather is PERFECT right now too!!! Oh, we should have a family reunion with Bentley and Sergei!

(stay at an on-site hotel--extra hours free-- weeeeeee!) We are still discussing the trip. For sure OH is going--but he might just have to stay with his aunt -- I know we all would be welcome there--but I am not sure if she would want two naughty active bengals in her apartment. Besides-there might just be a problem that prevents me from going altogether. I'll have to look up Aquatica--never heard of that. SeaWorld is where Garmin is having their dealer reception--that would be so fun.
A reunion would be fun!

We got Prokolin paste and vet royal canin wet to help settle him (litter box every hour is no fun), but... icky flavoured paste + bengal who does not want it = lyana, husband, kitchen and java covered in prokolin paste and ru sauntering in to the living room to remove the tiny drop he got on his whiskers oh dear... any tips?

You are very welcome!!!! Aquatica is SeaWorld's new water park that opened a year or so ago. They have water slides the go through glass tubes surrounded by dolphins and small whales! They also have big wave pools, lazy rivers and many, many birds and marine animals. So wonderful!

Not sure what's going on with Harry Potter! We do Universal's billboard advertising and it just keeps getting pushed back and pushed back. BUT, I do know we just did a big production order for all the HP designs, so it must be coming very soon!!!

I hope you can work it out to make it down to O'Town. April is one of the most beautiful months in Florida. Warm with low humidity and very little rain. After June until about October - hot, humid and hurricanes!

1. Lyana--you are sooo right about this being a chilled out forum. I'm so glad you are happy here. I wander to various forums but spend most of my time here for that reason.

I don't have any tips about the prokolin paste administration! Anyone else?

Ooooooooooo Thanks Terri-- that sounds so cool! I remember summer in Florida-- OH's immediate family lives in the New Port Richey area-- we used to spend months between crews there-- & other family in Orlando & friends in Sarasota. Hot and sticky for sure. But--one Christmas -- I drove MIL from Maine to Florida-- wouldn't you know that it snowed in NPR that year?! Here I left Maine thinking I was going to hang out by the pool for a couple of days until I flew back to the frozen tundra-- HA! Anyhow--I might just have something worked out so I can go and leave kitties in their house--fingers crossed that something works.

Holy Hockeysticks & Kumquats--I HATE the time change! And~this new antibiotic keeps me up all night. And~Sergei is going nuts trying to open the door to let the neighbor kitty in (thank goodness the storm door locks--they've had the door open a few times already today) while Marley runs around like a crazed psycho stalker. It is going to be a long day . . .
I did fall asleep for an hour this morning~after the kids got off to school~I had a nightmare! "Fish tanks, a 4 foot long skinny green venomous seasnake, bengal cats, feral ginger-snow-spotted colored kitty in a walking jacket with venom dripping from her fangs, tire rotation place, monkeys in vet's offices, injured kitty" sort of nightmare.
I can't get a comb through my hair and I want a Pepsi or Coke--but I not supposed to have caffeine with Cipro. Argh--gonna be a long day!

I couldn't get to sleep last night either. And my first alarm didn't go off--the second one went off but I didn't hear it because I was sleeping on my good ear.

Amazing nightmare. Monkeys seem to be a theme running through your subconscious. Wonder why?
